中国交通运输协会(简称中国交协，英文名称：China Communications and Transportation of Association)，成立于1982年，是经国家民政部批准的，由交通运输、铁道、民航、邮政和军事交通等部门和单位共同发起，从事交通运输、物流等有关企业事业单位及个人自愿组成，具有法人资格的全国性、行业性、非营利性社会组织。同时中国交协也是全国现代物流部际联席会议的成员单位之一。 现任会长胡亚东(原铁道部党组成员、副部长，中国铁路总公司原党组成员、副总经理)。
China Communications and Transportation of Association（CCTA）established in 1982, was approved by Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China, is a national, industrial and non-profit social organization with legal personality, which is jointly initiated by departments and enterprises of transportation, railway, civil aviation, postal service and military transportation, and is voluntarily formed by enterprises, institutions and individuals engaged in transportation, logistics, etc.
At the same time,CCTA is one of the member units of the National inter-ministerial joint conference of modern logistics. Hu Yadong is the current president. He was deputy general manager of China Railway Corporation.

（一）贯彻党和国家有关大件物流产业方面的方针、政策和法规，向政府有关部门反映会员企业的合理诉求，提出政策建议，维护会员和行业的合法权益；

（二）开展行业自律，推动诚信建设、规范会员行为；协调会员关系、维护公开、公平、公正的大件物流市场秩序；
Carry out industry self-discipline activities, promote the construction of credit system, standardize the behavior of members, coordinate the relations of members, and maintain an open, fair and just order of the large cargo logistics market.
（三）组织制/修订大件物流国家标准和行业标准，参与行业职业技能鉴定，不断提高行业素质和职业道德水准；
Establish/revis standards national and industry standards for large cargo logistics, to participate in the appraisal of professional skills in the industry, and to continuously improve the quality and professional ethics of the industry.
（四）开展行业企业需要的培训服务；举办各种类型的学术讨论会、报告会和经验交流活动，努力提高从业人员的理论水平和工作能力；

（五）编辑大件物流信息出版物，开发信息资源，建立信息网络平台，为会员单位提供信息服务；

（六）根据政府委托或需要，组织和实施行业调查，根据授权负责大件物流行业统计，收集、综合、分析和发布行业信息，为政府决策和企业经营管理决策提供数据、依据服务；
